In a competitive market, the promotional materials play a key role in connecting with prospective buyers, showcasing the development details.
Earlier this year, Oakmere was putting together the brochure for a new development in Bolton-le-Sands, but was unhappy with the dated photography available. They also wanted to avoid using stock photography of the area, as these are often used by the competition and do not reflect the exclusivity of the development, its views and its exact location.
“We were aware of Richard and Great Impressions through our networking contacts,” commented Shanna Turner, Marketing Coordinator at Oakmere Homes. “He came highly recommended, and we wanted a commercial property photographer who appreciated that we require images that sell an aspiration and lifestyle as well as a property. We want images that will attract prospective buyers.”
Richard met with Oakmere Homes and took an initial brief to capture a range of landscape images for a new brochure being designed to promote the Bolton-le-Sands development. “Following the meeting, Richard was very prompt to submit a quote, and the price was very competitive,” added Shanna. “He also made suggestions with regards to location and style of shots to get the best impact in the brochure and marketing materials.”
After the photo shoot, Richard provided a shortlist of images for Oakmere’s consideration. “The images were just what we were after,” said Shanna. “Richard also retouched some of the images for us to get them perfect for our brochures, which made life so much easier and efficient for us and our designers when putting the brochure artwork together.”
Following the success of the work carried out, Great Impressions has since been brought in to capture images for another Oakmere development in Kendal.
